Electrify America operates 1,200 DC fast charging stations in the United States, accounting for 1.4% of the national network. Founded as part of Volkswagen's diesel emissions settlement, the network focuses on high-power DC fast charging (150 kW and 350 kW) along major highway corridors and in metro areas. Electrify America stations use CCS and CHAdeMO connectors, with NACS being added at newer locations.

How Much Does Electrify America Cost?

Electrify America charges $0.43 to $0.60 per kWh for DC fast charging, depending on location and charger power level. The Pass+ membership costs $4 per month and reduces rates by approximately $0.10 per kWh, plus eliminates the $1 session fee. Idle fees apply after charging is complete when the station is busy. How Fast Is Electrify America?

Electrify America offers two charger tiers: 150 kW and 350 kW. At 350 kW, compatible vehicles like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 or Porsche Taycan can charge from 10% to 80% in under 20 minutes.
