What "OEM-Cert Verified" means
A shop is listed as certified only if it appears on an authoritative OEM, third-party-administrator (TPA), or I-CAR locator. Self-described "EV-certified" marketing is never sufficient.
Every badge carries the date we last confirmed the listing on the source locator, and links back to it. A Verified badge is an OEM certification; Recognized is an OEM-recognized program tier.

Dropped certifications are never silently deleted. Each month we re-check every shop
against its source locator; any certification that has disappeared is marked as dropped and dated, not removed.
